Bond has turned pretty grim and almost nihilist, it's true.
I kept waiting for him to crack a joke or at least a corny double-entendre, but no luck.
Maybe they can bring Sean Connery in on the next one as sort of a life coach: "What'sh the matter wi' ye boy? When I was your age I wash boffing Rooshin spy gels two at a time!"

JJ Daddy O - I'm personally not too keen on the song. Not Bond enough for my liking. Mind you, that's a criticism that's been leveled at the movie too so perhaps it's appropriate.

Just saw QoS Friday night (date night), and I really liked the title song. (I think you are talking about the theme music and not the title though)
After 20-something Bond movies there've been some good ones (Live and Let Die, Goldfinger), some Bad (For Your Eyes Only) and some WTF? (Tomorrow Never Dies (Cheryl Crow for $*&%#'s sake).
This is Jack Black and Alicia Keys and some very nice production by Jack, too. I remember thinking as I watched the credits (and playing the usual Spot The Naked Breast Game that goes with it) that this is a Bond title song that I might actually buy.
