I love this theory, if for no other reason than that it’s fun to go through and apply it to movies to see where it stands and where it falls, and then engage in heated arguments that result in fisticuffs. In fact, that’s my new theory – a theory’s greatness depends upon its potential for fisticuffs.

The formula is true, except for Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, I think. TDK is better than BB yet it has one extra villain in it.
