One, two, three, blow!

IMG_4775

Much like the Queen, Evan is having two birthdays this year. Today was his ceremonial birthday and we had various family members round for sausage rolls and hundreds and thousands sandwiches. He had a great time and amused the room with his enthusiastic reactions to his numerous presents.

Monday sees the actual day when the invisible chronometer of his life oficially hits the number 2. He and I are planning on spending the day together at the National Railway Museum in York. This will probably turn his already maniacal fascination with trains into a full blown obsession.

So, happy birthday big guy. We all love you very much.

I loved the ‘Two’ years – a tad of independance but mostly still wanting to please. That cake looked good – was it made of ‘real’ food or some veggie stuff?

We never went to York with our boys, maybe we should but trains bore the pants off me to be honest.

    Happy Birthday Evan

Happy birthday Evan, I am sorry we missed it.

Lucy is on at me to arrange something to do for our anniversary. I keep suggesting the railway museum – but for some reason she is not keen.

And Kerry, remember how miserable you probably felt two years ago today? And how happy two years ago tomorrow!
