Just a quick note to say all the video diaries from all six of the days of the walk are now up on the ITV yorkshire website.

Thanks go to Neil and all at ITV who edited down our rubbish to try and find something of at least slight merit. Thanks guys.

Brilliant, you all did it. And I bet you’re glad you walked then and not now looking at the rain. Blimey. I’ll be back to read properly soon but we’re off on holiday to sunny Devon tomorrow, gulp. HAve a good looooooong rest boy, you deserve it. :D

Who am I?

My name's Dan and I live near Huddersfield in the North of England. I’m a 34 years old part time stay at home dad. For three days a week I'm also a community mental health nurse but you won’t find me blogging about that here. I’m married to Kerry and we have two children - Amy (6) and Evan (3). In July of 2010 we'll be walking the length of Hadrian's Wall in six days. That's 84 miles across the entire width of England.

We're walking in aid of the Joseph Salmon Trust, a charity founded by our friends in memorial to their son Joseph who died aged 3 in April of 2005.
