Bereft

Can’t post now, I am in mourning. Yesterday I lost my beloved iPod Touch. I think it either fell out of my pocket while I was doing the garden (just before that thunderstorm we had) or I left it on the passenger seat of the car when I went to the shop (when I forgot to lock the passenger door).

Either way it’s gone for good. Kerry has put me on suicide watch.

In leu of flowers well wishers are asked to make a donation to The Joseph Salmon Trust. Or buy me a new ipod. Either one is good.

What a coincidence… yesterday, I FOUND a new iPod Touch. Had to delete much of the music on it though.

    Barry Manilow…

    Stock, Aitken & Waterman…

    Showtunes?!?

    (I kept the Manilow.)

I am sorry for your loss.

At least you didn’t put it through a 60degree wash like I did with mine.

Arjan – I really could do with finding it even if it doesn’t work. It’s the uncertainty that is killing me.

Xbox – Thank you for your kind words

Kevin – I was thinking of having the internet shut down for a week as a mark of respect

Rol – It did have high school musical on there

Oli – It would have been alright if only you used a 40 degree wash.

I would be stashing pills by now if I lost my iPhone – I can’t begin to imagine! I’d be…..argh, I can’t talk about it…
I would offer not to use mine as a mark of respect but then I changed my mind…sorry! :P

Any man worth his salt would now use this as a perfect excuse to go out and get an upgrade! Our TV/DVD/Camera/phone just has to click in a funny tone and it’s on it’s way to the tip with a brand new upgrade in it’s wake.

I can on ly imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth you must be doing for such a grievous loss. Perhaps have the next one surgically attached?

Dan, it might have burrowed into the ground and shacked up with a little mole. Just getting caught up. Love the kid photos i.e. Indy, new shoes and the growly one. And you should wear the hat with the Springsteen bandanna. And I’m sure you’ll be fine on the walk. Knackered, but fine.

Penelope – It’s been two days now since I last saw my ipod. I’ve gone through all the stages of grief now and am on to acceptance.

    Jane – Thank you

Gail – I do have my eye on a mp3 player with integrated DAB radio now.

Organic Mama – I’m thinking of getting a nipple piercing and chaining it to myself

Phil – I’m not going on the walk if I can’t find my ipod. I might have to talk to the other people!

(un)relaxeddad – The worst thing is that it’s my fault.

Arjan – I’ll put it in my diary

    Darren – It’s a cruel cruel world.

Jo – Wow, a multiple post comment. You are very efficient.

Lee – No worries. Although your callous cruelty has now driven me from twitter for good.

After you broke the news to me on my blog I have been avoiding coming here as hearing another human being in this much pain is unbearable.

But I could not be selfish and had to come and mourn with you in this difficult time. Dan, we are all here for you. It will be okay.
