Bec – Pah. Perhaps I can draw you out if I mention I think Camron is a policyless Blair clone put forward by a party who are more interested in gaining power than staying true to their ideology (come on now, there is no way you can resist pointing out that labour is exactly the same)

Morricia – There’s no justice, and there never has been I’m afraid.

Gail – To be fair, I always thought Ken was pretty good on have I got news for you too.

Sam – As I understand it oil is high not because it’s running out now, but because the price is being driven up by investors speculating it will run out in the future (which it will, obviously, but the current price is artificially inflated y these investers – as I say, greed)

Gary – On first glance the BNP’s stuff looks halfway reasonable. It’s only if you actually think about it that you see the underling hatred. Unfortunately a lot of people aren’t actually thinking about it.

Clair – Yep.

Xbox – From my limited grasp of wold politics it looks like the whole of Europe is dealing an upsurge in far right politics. Scary stuff.

Arjan – Boris became famous for acting like a bumbling fool. Quite why Londoners believed that that would be a good trait in a mayor is beyond me. I realize that in truth he is an intelligent man, but that still leaves him a manipulative fake for putting on such an act to gain popularity.

Sam – Current oil prices are high because of greed, not scarcity (and I don’t care what you say, it isn’t the governments fault). But you are right, wars are going to start breaking out once we start running dry.

Arjan – a good point.

Jane – And this “choice” isn’t going to be an informed one. It’s all crap.

Becky – I can’t work out which one of the many Becky’s I know you are. But you are right about the cocktail sausages. But I think they need to be on cocktail sticks with pineapple too.

James – Sadly true. I was interested to here Obama’s reaction to some gun control legislation that was going on in the states. It’s gone from “yes we can” to “no comment” rather quickly
