A duet
on Apr 17 in Uncategorized by DanOver on his blog Ed recently posted a video of him and his daughter Zoe playing the piano.
Now I’m not a competitive parent, but something in me just snapped. So I gave Amy a ten minute crash course in Chopin’s Waltz in D flat major, opus 64, No. 1
As you can see, we totally kicked Ed and Zoe’s arse.

Perhaps we could have an encore with Evan featuring as the guest soloist on drums – I have a wooden spoon and pan he uses here with great enthusiasm.
I’m going to have to claim “Uh-uhh. No fair!” Clearly you two were playing a duet while Zoe and I each played individually. The duet is obviously a violation of the fair standards of piano competition and your performance–inspiring though it was–will have to be disqualified.
