Ed - I know what you mean about always having plans for next year. I’ve been intending to lay a hazel hedge since we moved here three years ago.

Miss Britt - You don’t know the half of it, the garden carries on for another 50 meters or so from the spot I took that picture.

Nat - This is probably going to be my first year of proper gardening, up until now I’ve mainly been just digging and hitting things with hammers.

CamiKaos - The pop bottle greenhouse is still progressing out the front of the house, I shall post an update soon.

what a lot of veg to look after. I’m a chuck it in and see what happens type of person. I am good with strawberries and herbs though.
What about the labour of maintaining a constant supply of chilled beer for observation times? Could you add that?

My wife and kids plant our garden in the spring.

By late summer, they’ve given up on it. That’s when I swoop in to reap the harvest. Last year I found a bounty of green beans under a tangle of weeds.

My contribution to the garden this spring will be a rock wall around part of it. I’d do more, but I have a 30×10 wood deck to build onto our house. Oh, and I guess I should finish that damn basement project I started.

Hey, maybe you can take some time to fly here and give me a hand?
