“Where do they Make Balloons?” and “Bitches Ain’t Shit” on the same play-list. Inspired!

It’s kind of annoying though for someone who thought their musical tastes were “eclectic” to know that there’s someone out there who’s sensibilities overlap so much.

Still, that’s some real conversation for your ass.

National Express, how I miss you.

    Not.

  3. 3 Rol

BF’s cover of BAS is a classic… but it always leaves me feeling a little bit grubby after singing along to it seventeen times in a row at full volume.

Rol, I know exactly what you mean. Very cathartic in a way that totally un-PC things can be sometimes.

  5. 5 Oli

Chives. Do de doo dah de doo.
Apology not needed - that’s made my day.

  6. 6 Greg

I’d like to request “Chives” as an MP3, please. I’m putting together a CD for a wedding and I think it would be the perfect accompaniment for the devotional.

  7. 7 Avitable

    What a great picture.

I’m having Reel Big Fish concert flashbacks.

That was surreal, I miss real accents…

I must say, that Chives is much catchier than the song Green Onion you were so proud of.

I have garage band and never use it, in case you were wondering.

When you saw Ben Folds did he perform that? It’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen in a show.

    Whit’s last blog post..Lazy Saturday

    I love quirky music too.

    Ever listen to XTC?

Oh, one can never have too many iPods.

  12. 12 Bec

This was a beautiful surprise during my sick day! You rule.

Glad to see your radio show back on the air! I’m listening to your podcast while I’m cruising blogs and have my laptop speakers cranked while my daughter is hanging out across from me. I sorta had to quickly turn down the volume when Ben came up. Kind of like Vegemite… I wasn’t expecting that!

    Jeff’s last blog post..Lent

  14. 14 Ed (zoesdad)

Loved the podcast. TMBG is always a fav as is Ben Folds. And unfortunately now I’ve got to go to bed with that Chives tune stuck on an endless replay loop in my head. Thanks.

Sorry for the delay in posting / replying / commenting on your blogs, but my internet connection is being an arse again.

Becky - I’m not sure that my music taste is eclectic, just slightly off mainstream.

(un)relaxed dad - I once spent eight hours on one on a journey that should have lasted three.

Rol - I must admit, I have turned it down when driving with the window open.

Oli - Why thank you sir.

Greg - I’m having it at my funeral

Avitable - I like it, Oli did all the fancy graphic bits. He’s a nice chap that Oli.

Jason - They were playing in a city near us recently, but we didn’t find out about it until it was too sort notice to go.

    Xbox4NappyRash - I thought you were irish?

Whit - He hadn’t done that when I saw him I don’t think. I don’t even think he’d done songs for silverman at that point.

Phil - No, but a few people have told me I should check them out. Any recommendations for essential album?

Bec - Hope I didn’t make you feel worse.

Jeff - Sorry. I shall have to put a parental warning on it next time.

Ed - It’s amazing how many of us bloggers are TMBG fans. And you are welcome for that chive’s song. I’m thinking of releasing it as a single.
