Temperatures are so stressful - so changeable at this age. (Dudelet, incidentally, is now convinced that he's about to throw up at least two or three times a day and insists on a bucket being bought to his bed first thing in the morning "Just in case". He didn't seem to improve after an hour of giving him his extra doses of inhaler so they said to bring him back. Of course, by the time we got there, he was almost totally recovered so I felt a bit silly. It turns out it was more to do with his high temperature at the time, which came down after being out in the cold. Again, they just kept us in until the morning to be sure. The nurses were nice and said it's best not to take chances but I think we'll wait a bit longer if it happens again. He's eating today and hasn't got a temp, so well on the way to being back to normal.
