Every so often though, I have a massive clear-up of both, filling both the virtual and real rubbish/recycle bins.

Mac shortcut: Shift Apple 3 - it saves a PNG of your screen(s) to your desktop!

You’ll notice that there’s far too much on it, leaving an organisational structure that’s about as organised as I am. Some of the icons have rather dubious titles, but rest assured the contents aren’t quite as dodgy.

The folder “desktop stuff” contains all the files that I’ll sort out one day. Other folders have similarly optimistic titles, and some are just factual and in the way.

With some PCs, you have to hit Ctrl-Print Screen, and then Paste.

I posted my desktop back when I posted pictures of my desk. It was inadvertent, but when you have a 30″ widescreen monitor (heheheh), the desktop dominates the entire desk.
