I say kids that are unkempt at the end of a day is a sign that they've had great fun!

When I walk home from school with my kids, I see countless mums (when its raining) saying to their kids "get out from under that dripping pipe", "don't jump in thatpuddle you'll get wet!" ...... ummmm ... yes? Isn't that the fun of it? And then I look at my kids, their uniforms wet through as they jump in every puddleas hard and loudly as they can, their hair wet through cos they've been running from pipe to pipe sticking their hair under the "shower". I'm sure the other mums must hate me, as their kids look at mine jealously wishing they could get as dirty! Parenting isn't all about keeping clean I think, childhood is for having fun! There are times when keeping clean just isn't an option .....

Great site Dan!

You're great parents! (unless all these photos are a cover up for what REALLY goes on .....!!)

I don't either. I'm the primary care-giver in our home which is equally scary for me and my children. My dirty little children.
