    Mmm interesting, I shall add that to my favourites but my favourite pop culture heroines are – in no particular order:
    Bet Lynch
    Lily Munster
    Sandy Cheeks – from Spongebob
    Velma/Thelma from Scooby Doo – never did get a definitive answer as to how her name is spelt
    Morticia Addams
    Detective Eames – Law and Order Criminal Intent
    All of the women from CSI but especially Calleih Duquane
    Dame Edna Everage

    and in terms of real life (though in some cases dead) women:
    Victoria Wood
    Edith Piaf
    Edith Wharton
