Most of the paint washed off in the bath, but either blue is particularly virulent or Amy’s cheek is especially absorbant. Either way, years from now Amy will be able use this photo as an enduring record of the day that her face first developed a healthy blue glow.

I only went to bed for an hour. I don’t know who was more pleased with themselves, although it was probably Dan. I’m just waiting to see what happens next time we get the paints out….

Dudelet’s main addiction is make-up, the more female, the better. He even has his own little eyeshadow set off the front of some magazine or other. His mother thinks it’s hysterical. Especially when he’s had a bit of a session before I have to take him to the childminders…

this is a fantastic picture…when my girls paint, it ends up more like a jackson pollack.
