Ben Folds sings the theme to Father Ted. Which was of course written by Neil Hannon of the Divine Comedy. What more could you ever ask for?

.Congratulations to La Bête, the irritatingly wonderful blogger from Bête de Jour who has just landed himself a book deal. The bastard. My guess that it'll be either Xbox or Whit next. Or maybe Rol. Anyone but me anyway.
- #Joe Cornish's Quantum of Solace theme tune is fantastic. In fact so is his comedy partner Adam Buxton's version. Actually everything that these two put out is more or less genius. If you're not listening to their Radio Six Music show and podcast already then you bloody well should be.
- #Julia Nunes - Accidentally in love. There appears to be a bit of a fad on YouTube for doing cover versions on the ukulele. And jolly good they are too. Julia Nunes is the best of the bunch and even caught the eye of Ben Folds who got her to open for him at a number of US gigs.
- #Way to Normal. The new Ben Folds album is out, and at first listen it's bloody good too.

You see to some Father Ted was a comedy, but to me it was a documentary about people I knew when I was little ;-) and now my Mum has completely turned into Mrs Doyle…..though without as much facial hair. She makes as many sandwiches though and her sandwiches are lovely.
