I returned a week later to find that my name had already been claimed and I there was a choice of one name left in the hat (no doubt the one that about seven people had already drawn out and surreptitiously put back - the bastards). In the past I have found that you spend an agonizing two weeks wracking your brains to try and think what someone you hardly know would like, then when it comes to receiving your own gift you end up getting something so off target with your tastes it sends you into a spiral of paranoia about what your workmates really think of you.
