Logorama

This is the movie that won this years Oscar for best animated short. It’s bloody fantastic (although I’m pretty sure I spotted a couple of product placements in there)

Brilliant. I spotted the Hollywood sign – was that what you meant by product placement…didn’t see anything else though. I work in the branding industry, and feel this should be required viewing for all my clients…

I had not seen this before. Thought of looking it up just this morning, but you saved me the trouble.

Worth 15 minutes, definitely. Much fun. And my wife will be pleased that the world does indeed revolve around Pepsi!

@john Gray, Yes, for entertainment I probably agree with you. but I’d argue that this was more art than entertainment (although I appreciate you can have both)

awesome. I wonder if every product in there paid a certain amount for how visible they were.
Oh and I always knew Mc Donalds was evil inc.

    • Dan says:

@Arjan, from the little I know about the film i think that they didn’t even ask for permission to use the logos. I wonder if there will be some lawsuits in the offing.

I can’t see mcDonalds being happy about how they are portrayed.

      • Arjan says:

@Dan, the funny thing about lawsuits with these kind of things is that it would probably bring more negative publicity towards Mc Donalds so they will probably let it go.
