I’ve been surprised at how there isn’t one single arse coming on this walk too. Just goes to show a blog is a good way of getting like minded people together.

Wow, Dan, I didn’t realize how big an influence I’ve been on your life. So you won’t be mad when I steal your blog template because Blogger is forcing me to move to WordPress?

Even though I’m old enough to be Dan’s, uh, slightly older brother, and we live in completely different countries, and he hates 80′s music, and he’s successfully lost weight, and he has this unnatural love for chickens… Oh hell, I was going to talk about what we have in common but now I can’t think of anything.

No, it’s really all about being a good dad. Dan’s got it. That’s what brings me back. That and the free cookies.

Funny how us homeschoolers always get lumped together. I don’t mind in the least being lumped with Phil, though.

I’m still homeschooling my youngest but my oldest wanted to try middle school last year and became the first child in the history of the world to love being in middle school. WTF? Go figure. I’m adjusting.

Your review of me is very sweet but as you suspect, I am a socially awkward insecure total dork. At least until I get to know people then I’m just a total dork. You’re right, I’m fine with that. I grew up hearing a different drum in a homogenous small southern town. It was either learn to fight to be myself or self destruct. I came close to the later but settled on the former. I’m happy with my decisions.

You shouldn’t be the least bit intimidated by me. I think the world of you! And like the rest of the people I know that are going on the walk, I think we all share a similar view of the world and our place in it. You’ve managed to pull together a great group of people for a great cause and we are going to have a wonderful time together. Unless I run out of chocolate bars. Then we might have some problems.

I’ll get back to work now putting more imperceptibility into the blogosphere. I’ve been a big slacker lately. Thanks for the great review. It got my morning off to a good start.
