I’m very pleased to be able to present a special family focused episode of Radio All That Comes With It, with guest presenters from all corners of the globe (well, the English speaking bits anyway).

All the tracks on this podcast are either kids or kid friendly songs, and it’s my rough intent is the podcast is something that families can listen to together (in the car or whatever). I’ve played it through a few times at our house and it’s already a firm favorite with my two. Granted, that’s probably because the narcissistic buggers are actually featured in it, but you get my point.

Many thanks go to Lee, Clair, Idaho Dad, and Greg for contributing their vocal talents and musical tastes. Apologies go to the people who I’d offered to give a bit of technical support in creating a segment, and then got too busy to actually follow through my promises. The deal is still on though if you’re still up for it, as I plan on doing this again in the next couple of weeks.

Similarly if anyone reading this fancies having a go at presenting their own segment then you are more than welcome. In fact it would be fantastic. I had a great time putting this together, and think a collaborative global podcast is a really cool project to play with for a while.

Who am I?

My name's Dan and I live near Huddersfield in the North of England. I’m a 34 years old part time stay at home dad. For three days a week I'm also a community mental health nurse but you won’t find me blogging about that here. I’m married to Kerry and we have two children - Amy (6) and Evan (3). I keep chickens, grow veg, and take the occasional long walk. If you want to know how other's describe me then take a look here. I chickened out on this upon hearing my own voice, it was for the best, trust me.

I’ve spent the last week listening to the song I had picked though.

This was really good though, great fun to listen to. Loved Clair’s pick, and Greg’s intro.

We really adore electric car, we have been singing it since we heard it a couple of months back.

The boys also love big fish little fish, chocolata and which doctor too

My Bro uses a really cool DJ called the menacing boyz at the club (social club) and they do a great childrens disco with all of the brill songs

There aren’t many ‘kids-songs’ I heard when I was young which were in English.
I did find a song which could/would be fun even if it’s partly Dutch and partly gibberish..but I couldn’t find an audio..but I will get it soon and send you some stuff. I would really like to add to the next podcast.
