To be honest I’m always very enthusiastic is spring, but by the time it gets to summer my interest always slackens for some reason.

Need to be better next year.

@Arjan, chickens do that after a while apparently. you are supposed to cull them when it happens, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to.

And it isn’t a courgette, or even a marrow.

My mum informed me the chickens of my grandpa have stopped laying eggs completely after many years of service…darn..it means I will have to start buying my eggs again.
