The hamster was such a funny character. He reminded me of Jack Black in some way, probably coz he says awesome all the time, and coz of his OTT enthusiasm :P

The movie was quite emotional at times :)

@Arjan, a 4th of Chicken Little was amy's first ever film she saw at the cinema. she demanded we go after that as she was scared by the dark and the noise of the movie theater.

@notSupermum, I nearly went so far as saying “tosh”, but then thought better of it.

i think you’re right, I think it probably is very much a boy’s film. to be honest I’d have been pretty happy if the TV show Bolt was starring in was never exposed and we just had a hour and a half of super-dog action.

We loved it too and the animation was amazing. Beverly Hills Chihuahua I have yet to write about, but I hate hate hated it. My kids though? Loved it. Sighhhhh. What have I done wrong. :(

Pish and piffle eh?

I’m glad you enjoyed it, and I loved your descriptions of the quality of the film – something I only mentioned in passing, but – and forgive me for generalising – I think it’s a boys film. Why? Cause boys are not as sentimental as girls. Wow, I can’t believe I just wrote that. But, look at your comments so far – all men, and they all loved it. I rest my case :-)
