Amy found these this morning as I have been trying to sort out her old clothes. I told her they would be too small but I heard her a couple of minutes later, proudly announcing that they still fit!
She was so enamoured with them she insisted I put her trousers on over the sandals, so she didn’t have to take them off. The only way I’ve managed to get her out of them is by telling her we are going to the community farm and she might get them dirty if she treads in some pig poo. She has decided that this isn’t worth the risk and so she’ll wear her brand new shoes instead.
We sort of go through this every 6-9 months. Thankfully my girl isn’t too attached to any of them — but I am. I remember all the cute things she did trying to get on whatever shoes were her favorites of the day, or what she did in certain shoes… silly me.

That’s why they are still around. I have collected them all in a big bag as I intend to take a photo but she keeps finding them and out they come!
Yeah, lay them out in a row in the driveway and take a pic. You’ll be glad you did.
