on May 15 in General by DanYesterday Evan graduated from the “toddler room” at nursery to the “big room”. The next stop after this is school. My little guy is growing up.
Those aren’t tears in my eyes by the way, I’ve been chopping onions. Yeah, that’s it; chopping onions.
Could someone please point out where the pause button is on my kid’s childhoods? Or at least the slow motion. Because I’ve got a suspicion that at the moment this damn thing called life is stuck on fast forward.
Got to hold onto it while you have it I guess.

Funny, Lukas is graduating into the Toddler Room this month, and I feel the same way.
It goes so darn fast. I guess that’s why some people keep having more of them.

These early milestones are so fun and bittersweet.

That is a gorgeous picture! I’m having some of that stop-the-clock stuff here as Master P starts Year 11 in September and it seems like just 5 minutes ago we were shopping for that first school uniform.

Where does the time go indeed? Seems like only yesterday your good wife and I were comparing bumps, and now they’re hurtling towards three!
I’m not usually a soppy susan but every time I hear Abba’s ‘Slipping Through my Fingers’ which thankfully I don’t often have cause to do, I’m definitely in the very large onion-chopping division.
Oh and by the way your HSM v Hannah Montana comments…spot on!
