Greetings to one and all:

Tent dwelling for a good many children gives them a bread away from just the daily routine as all of us parents know.

We also know it presents a few dangers that must be watched out for. At least in some parts of the world.

I’m a fulltime writer and an ordained minister. Also have raised three sons. All would know, having raised children myself, I’d be well versed on both the wonderful and dreadful aspect’s of camping.

My most recent book to have been published is about two boys with their many defeats and also many triumphs in life. I’ll leave a link just in case some would want to take a peek at it.

Personally I would rather have taken Evan shoe shopping than to a HM movie. I occasionally have to suffer it at home - even though Alexander denies he's watching it and I just want to slap every single one of them not to mention that Suite Life drivel. Singleparentdad – My advice would be to persuade your son that he wants to sleep in the same tent as another of the dads, then pitch your tent on the other side of the campsite.

Ed – The cinema wasn’t on site, but the half hour drive was totally worth it. And I think the Dr Pepper combined with the gallon of Diet coke he had at the cinema was certainly a large factor in the little swine’s wakefulness.

Erin – As subtle as a brick through the window. A guy rope is one of those string type things that keep the flysheet touching the inner bit of the tent.
