Great picture – I had a trip to make to Airdrie yesterday and so set off at 6am, the route up the A65 to the M6 near Kendall was stunning, just stunning in the early morning mist, complemented by the blackest sky you’ve ever seen hovvering over the Dumfries hills an hour later.

I love this country for its moorlands, we might not have big mountains but we have hills and some great weather to enhance them.

Good luck on your Cumbria Way walk by the way…

Only a few weeks until the PR starts on my Coast to Coast bike ride in July, gosh did I let that plug slip out ;)
