Accrington Stanley? Who are they?

on Aug 26 in General by

There are two different types of milk in our fridge. Kerry and I have skimmed milk in a futile nod to healthy eating and Amy has full fat.

This morning Amy asked for a drink and, as the skimmed milk was already out on the bench, I broke with convention and pored her a glass of red top.

She took one sip then pulled a disgusted face and proclaimed “Urg. This is dirty milk”.

I’m with Amy. Any milk that’s bluish grey can’t be that good for you.

Buy 1% and damn the consequences!

We don’t actually have percentages for our milk. We have blue top – full fat, green top – semi skimmed, and red top – skimmed.

I’ve sent you a four pint bottle of blue top milk in that parcel I posted last week. It should be with you in around 10 days so I imagine you’re looking forward to tasting british dairy produce.

The very reason why most people don’t like skimmed (that it doesn’t taste like milk) is the reason I buy it.

I don’t actually like milk very much but know I should have it, so skimmed milk is the answer.
